Tractor Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Mechanic to join our team at FedEx Freight. As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine checks and maintenance on tractors and trailers to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Support shop operations by preparing jobs, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
- Prepare electronic and manual records and reports to track progress and maintain compliance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift components weighing approximately 110 pounds with assistance.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to enter and exit driver's compartment safely.
The estimated salary for this role is $25.46 per hour. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
