About the Role:
Job TitleDiesel Engine Mechanic Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Engine Mechanic. As a Diesel Engine Mechanic at W.W. Williams, you will be responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3+ Years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment. Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.
- Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
- Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.
- Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.
- Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.
About the Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Plus, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with a company match, and paid time off.
