Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Hammond Lumber Company. This role involves operating forklifts and material handling equipment, making customer deliveries using Class B or Class A equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient logistics operations
  • Make timely customer deliveries using Class B or Class A equipment
  • Provide outstanding customer service to build strong relationships with clients
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Forklift experience is a significant advantage in this role
  • Previous experience handling building materials is also beneficial
  • Experience with spider trucks or boom trucks is a plus
  • A valid Class A or B driver's license is mandatory
  • USDOT testing requirements apply to this position
