Role Responsibilities:This role supports the Global Sustainment (GS) product design and delivery for RMS-C6ISR programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing all aspects of technical publications and training, with a primary focus on creating and delivering training programs.
This position requires the ability to write, revise, and edit training materials and technical documents tailored to diverse audiences.
The selected individual must gain subject matter expertise through hands-on experience with the systems, engaging with product developers, and consulting technical specifications and engineering documents.
Key responsibilities include developing and presenting instructional materials, which encompass instructor-led training, course content creation, defining student learning objectives, preparing course outlines, lesson plans, assessments, and developing student manuals while ensuring the quality and effectiveness of training materials and procedures.
The candidate should be adept at identifying necessary engineering source data and integrating approved information into support documentation.
This position necessitates a foundational understanding of computer hardware, networking, and maintenance processes. The candidate will also provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support during formal training sessions.
Training materials specific to the program will be developed for both official training and periodic refreshers.
The ideal candidate will possess strong public speaking abilities and excellent written communication skills, with the capacity to interact effectively with customer representatives and leadership as well as Lockheed Martin program management.
Applicants must be prepared to undergo a government security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
Essential Qualifications:- Proven instructional skills
- Technical proficiency with the ability to convey knowledge and understanding of RMS-C6ISR program systems to end-users.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various professional levels.
- Willingness to travel to different locations as required, with an estimated travel commitment of 10-20%.
- Active Top-Secret clearance (TS/SCI) is mandatory.
Note:
- Selected candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional writing experience, including editing and proofreading capabilities.
- Experience in network training.
- Logistics engineering expertise.
- Familiarity with Air Defense and Mission Planning.
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) Communications and Command & Control (C2) systems.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to assess system capabilities and timelines, and leading product testing in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in planning and executing training for product end-users and stakeholders.
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in developing operations or maintenance training for complex electronic systems.
