Role Summary:

We are looking for a driven individual to take on the role of Technical Services Parts Coordinator for HVAC/R. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Technical Services team by ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of essential components.

Importance of the Role:

Budderfly implements various cutting-edge technologies to enhance energy efficiency at client sites. The effectiveness of these technologies is critical to our success. This position is integral to a team that ensures optimal operation and customer satisfaction by facilitating the procurement of necessary parts to maintain equipment in peak condition. A background in HVAC components, preferably as an HVAC Counter Salesperson or in a similar capacity, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly address internal customer inquiries by expediting orders with manufacturers or sourcing replacement parts.
  • Process internal customer requests through the Budderfly Fulfillment system by accurately entering orders.
  • Establish and oversee operational procedures for HVAC Parts to meet expectations.
  • Provide technical assistance and conduct research as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and manufacturers for research, pricing, and order placement.
  • Participate in product knowledge sessions to enhance business acumen.
  • Efficiently retrieve orders from the warehouse.
  • Maintain real-time order status tracking.
  • Utilize computerized systems and technologies for order management.
  • Manage in-house inventory of parts and materials, collaborating with field technicians to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding warranty issues, product recalls, and operational challenges.
  • Maintain store inventory and remove obsolete items.
  • Guide vendors to meet service expectations.
  • Document daily activities and maintain records in company systems.
  • Travel as necessary to assist with troubleshooting and preventive planning.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC Sales or Parts.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with contractors and clients.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a distribution center environment.
  • A commitment to continuous learning, both technically and professionally.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and NetSuite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams.
