Mailroom Support Specialist

**About the Role:**

In this exciting opportunity, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our mailroom and providing top-notch customer service to our clients. As an Office Service Representative II, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including processing mail and packages, managing supplies, and operating office equipment.

**Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, sort, and deliver all incoming mail and packages according to assigned floors and time frames
  2. Wrap, seal, weigh, affix postage, and dispatch all outgoing mail and packages in accordance with postal regulations
  3. Prepare special outgoing inter-office pouches sent to client affiliates as scheduled (if applicable)
  4. Package and process outgoing overnight items, such as Federal Express and UPS, to meet client and vendor deadlines
  5. Log and deliver incoming overnight packages within established time frames

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-5 years' experience in a mailroom or professional office environment preferred
  • Knowledge of metering, weighting, logging, and other shipping procedures
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines
