About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Charge Entry Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes for our patients. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
The Charge Entry Specialist will be responsible for:
• Receiving and reviewing charge documents for accuracy
• Coordinating with front office staff on payment and billing issues
• Entering charges into our practice management system
• Balancing charge summaries and updating charges in the system
• Extracting information from medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in coding, billing, or charge entry in the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is highly preferred
• Familiarity with third-party billing requirements and payment policies is also highly preferred

Estimated Salary Range
$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
