The State of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vital Records Program Support Generalist to join our team in the VITAL RECORDS department. Salary and Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $47,000, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes 12 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans (including 401a Cash Match and 457 Deferred Compensation Plan), and sick, family/personal, and annual leave.

Job Description

As a Vital Records Program Support Generalist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing top-notch customer service to internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person interactions;
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records, ensuring data integrity and security;
  • Processing complex vital record requests, adhering to established procedures and policies;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve daily customer service production goals and meet deadlines;
  • Participating in quality assurance activities to ensure excellence in service delivery;
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to research and resolve complex issues;
  • Experience working with software applications, Microsoft Office products, and general office equipment;
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Bilingual skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently;
