Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering patient care by utilizing the nursing process to collect data, assess patient needs, and develop effective plans of care. This individual will coordinate patient teaching activities and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze assessment data to identify patient priorities and develop comprehensive plans of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff members as needed.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare entities to ensure patient-centered approaches.
  • Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • CURRENT LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) from the state of employment.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) - American Heart Association certification.
  • One year of clinical patient care experience preferred.
