Keys to Success:
  • Plan, guide design, and oversee a variety of civil engineering projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about ongoing projects and position the firm for future opportunities.
  • Supervise technical staff to ensure project delivery.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing and ensuring adherence to QA/QC protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with established corporate standards for all project deliverables.
  • Support business development efforts to foster strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Registered PE in Washington and/or Oregon.
  • Experience in Pierce County and Tacoma is advantageous.
  • Background in residential and commercial master-planned development projects.
  • Able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with engineers, surveyors, and landscape architects.
  • Experience mentoring civil project engineers and EITs.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience in specification writing and engineering cost estimation.
  • Interest in business development and client relationship management.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured for company vehicle operation may be required.

Please note that salary information is a general guideline. Salaries are based on experience and qualifications, as well as market considerations.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 annually. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, and life insurance. We also offer a 401k plan with a company match, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays. MacKay Sposito covers licensure expenses and provides annual profit-sharing bonuses.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we offer workplace flexibility, allowing team members to work from home up to two days a week.
