Project Management Role at McKinstry

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at McKinstry. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring project success through on-site management of subcontractors and maintenance of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update project schedules
  • Coordinate work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Write and review scopes of work
  • Assist Project Manager with bid procurement
  • Communicate with field personnel
  • Maintain daily logs of work performed by McKinstry and subcontractors onsite
  • Develop RFIs as required to document changes to the scope of work

Requirements:

  • Commercial Contractor experience required
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak required
  • Knowledge of construction management, commercial building process, and OSHA standards required
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Facilities Management or equivalent work experience preferred
