Position Overview: Data Product Manager at Simmons Bank

We are seeking a skilled professional to spearhead the creation and execution of our cloud-centric analytics platform. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse teams to shape product direction and deliver cutting-edge solutions that support our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the product roadmap and backlog across various departments
  • Guide cross-departmental teams to achieve product objectives
  • Establish the vision and strategy for the product
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and IT departments to enhance product value
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with best practices tailored to specific business requirements
  • Formulate and uphold change management and communication plans
  • Leverage existing governance frameworks for optimization choices

Required Expertise:

  • Proficiency in both waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies
  • Experience in project management related to transformation or cloud transitions
  • Comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle and operational handover processes
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and Data Warehouse principles

Distinctive Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex migrations to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Possession of management certifications such as PMP or CSM
  • Cloud certification demonstrating knowledge of Cloud Fundamentals

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • 6-8 years of experience in product planning and execution
  • Additional certifications in production management or strategic planning
