This position is tailored for a client in the manufacturing and agricultural sector, seeking a dedicated professional to oversee Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) across various business divisions.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in driving the FP&A initiatives within the assigned units. Working closely with organizational leadership, this role aims to refine financial forecasting and analytical functions, support the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning, and contribute to the quarterly forecasting cycle.

Moreover, the Senior Financial Analyst will deliver essential financial decision-making support, engaging in monthly reporting activities. This position also involves assisting with modifications to structural and product hierarchies and integrating these adjustments into reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Strategic Engagement:** Play a crucial role in the annual budgeting, long-term planning, and quarterly forecasting efforts.

- **Collaborative Partnerships:** Work across corporate teams to update product and cost center hierarchies, ensuring smooth integration into reporting systems.

- **Advanced Financial Analysis:** Conduct sophisticated financial analyses to uncover trends and propose solutions aimed at enhancing profit margins and reducing risks.

- **Reporting Precision:** Create and maintain precise dashboards, models, and reports to clearly communicate actual performance, forecasts, and variances.

- **Variance Insights:** Execute variance analysis, showcasing the ability to understand and explain key factors influencing changes.

- **Support for Decision-Making:** Facilitate effective decision-making through impactful financial analysis.

- **Performance Metrics Development:** Collaborate with leadership to formulate, prepare, and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

- **Project Management:** Independently manage ad-hoc projects, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.

- **Relationship Development:** Build relationships at all levels within the organization, promoting collaboration across departments.

- **Automation Initiatives:** Identify and spearhead opportunities to utilize automation and data to improve business performance.

- **Adaptability:** Take on additional responsibilities as required or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Planning and Analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, providing fresh perspectives and exercising sound judgment based on thorough analysis. They will have a comprehensive understanding of budgeting, long-term planning, forecasting processes, and various financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash Flow).

Compensation:

$95,000 - $115,000 annual salary

Work Model: This client operates under a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office each week.
