Position Summary:

  • Manage the comprehensive supply and demand dynamics of the organization utilizing systems such as Atlas, Oracle E-business Suite, and ASCP. Evaluate global demand across multiple sales channels and deliver insightful forecasting and planning recommendations. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure alignment between sales and production forecasts.
  • Facilitate and lead Sales Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, which involves creating presentation materials through cross-departmental collaboration, research, and data updates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of the supply and demand flow using Atlas, Oracle E-business Suite, and Oracle ASCP. Maintain and refine forecasting models for products, integrating business intelligence and insights from sales, marketing, finance, and other relevant sources.
  • Lead monthly discussions regarding product performance with key stakeholders in Sales, Business Units, and Product Management.
  • Possess strong functional expertise combined with business intelligence to effectively translate business needs into operational requirements.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations throughout all phases of project life cycles, including implementation, gap analysis, mapping, testing, and business process enhancement.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply base and action plans.
  • Integrate solutions across the organization by applying a comprehensive understanding of operational processes.
  • Collaborate with the supply base to identify and enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives.
  • Recommend and develop best practices.
  • Oversee projects and tasks to ensure timely deliverables and adherence to deadlines.

  • Support initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement and waste reduction.
  • Lead S&OP meetings with sales and operations leaders within the organization.

Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Oracle, and Salesforce. Familiarity with Business Intelligence applications, with a preference for Microsoft Power BI.
  • Extensive experience with ERP/MRP systems and Oracle; experience with Demand Management/Forecast software is essential, with a preference for Atlas Planning Demand Management.
  • A minimum of five years in demand planning, forecasting, or master scheduling roles.
  • Knowledge of common forecasting methodologies and principles.
  • Effective communication skills with external resources and all levels of internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position as outlined.
