Location: Bloomington, MN (onsite)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Accountant:
- Execute general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations.
- Engage in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
- Analyze revenue and expenses while preparing comprehensive financial statements.
- Deliver proactive financial analysis and support to finance and operations teams.
- Assist in financial, vendor, and internal audit processes.
- Play a vital role in the budgeting process.
- Collaborate with operations management to identify and recommend process or system enhancements, and assist in their implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and adherence to US GAAP in all processes and procedures.
Qualifications for the Manufacturing Accountant Role:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Accounting is highly desirable.
