Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a key member of our distribution center team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and inventory within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks, to move inventory and materials within the warehouse.
  • Receive and process incoming inventory, including logging into our warehouse management system and stocking inventory in the proper location.
  • Read and follow work orders, shipping orders, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Fill customer invoices, check part numbers, clean and pack inventory items, and inspect inventory for defects or damage.
  • Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including equipment and storage areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse operational goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including overtime, as needed.
