Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the registration process for events, ensuring accurate tracking of participants.
  • Secure and arrange venues suitable for the size and nature of each event.
  • Facilitate speaker communications and coordinate presentation materials and audio-visual needs.
  • Develop event agendas, promotional flyers, and other necessary materials.
  • Organize catering services, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events, including setup, signage, and on-site coordination.
  • Engage effectively with vendors, sponsors, and attendees to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Assess the success of events and gather feedback for future enhancements.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to facility security protocols.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or FS Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management software.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of event planning experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Event Management/Hospitality with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
