About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marine Terminal Security Guard to join our team at a premier marine terminal in Philadelphia. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility and its operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the facility, both on foot and in a vehicle, to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Access Control and CCTV Monitoring: Operate and monitor access control systems and CCTV cameras to ensure the secure entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including emergencies and suspicious activities, and take necessary actions to resolve the situation.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management through various devices, and document and report on daily activities, incidents, and any suspicious activities.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional assistance to all stakeholders on site, including employees, visitors, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and a valid Driver's License.
  • Experience: At least five years of driving experience preferred, and previous security experience is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to adapt to various situations, deescalate potential conflicts, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
