About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marine Terminal Security Guard to join our team at a premier marine terminal in Philadelphia. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the facility, both on foot and in a vehicle, to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Monitor Access Control Systems: Operate and monitor access control systems, including CCTV cameras, to ensure the secure entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
  • Enforce Security Protocols: Enforce security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its occupants.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including alarms and incidents, and contact emergency services as necessary.
  • Document Incidents: Document all incidents, including security breaches and near-misses, and report them to management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC): Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and a valid driver's license.
  • Previous Security Experience: Previous security experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
