We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by introducing, training, and advising on our product platform. Our product provides soil insights and visibility of harmful insect pests and pathogens, enabling growers to proactively plan for the next season and maximize crop potential.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Recruit, train, and advise sales agents to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Execute sales efforts across the region to enroll farms with Pattern Ag through sales agents
  • Plan and coordinate in-field operations in support of the offering
  • Deliver key results and work with customers to drive decisions and outcomes based on our recommendations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through a relentless focus on understanding the customer problem and potential solutions
  • Collaborate with internal product and science teams to inform product discovery and development
  • Build a network of seller agents to support direct selling efforts
  • Meet administrative and communication needs

**Requirements**

  • BS degree, preferably in Agriculture or a related field
  • 2-5 years of successful selling to or working with customers in the field of Agriculture
  • 2+ years setting up and selling to the retail and/or seed channel is preferred but not required
  • Farming experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with solution sales and a consultative sales approach
  • Interest in, and experience with, working alongside product and science teams to help inform product development and discovery
  • Understands our purpose, core values, and how Pattern Ag will change agriculture

  • Able to quickly build and maintain trust
  • Ability to distill technical results into actionable recommendations
