POSITION: LEAD MULESOFT INTEGRATION ENGINEER

In the role of Lead MuleSoft Integration Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and executing integration solutions utilizing the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze integration needs, and offer technical direction and assistance. This position demands a high level of technical proficiency, outstanding communication abilities, and a talent for effective collaboration across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecting and implementing integration solutions with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Working alongside project managers, system architects, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Leading and guiding a team of developers throughout the integration project lifecycle.
  • Providing expert technical support and guidance at all stages of project execution.
  • Conducting code assessments and ensuring compliance with best practices in MuleSoft development.
  • Designing and establishing API specifications and frameworks.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical challenges in development, testing, and production settings.
  • Engaging in the assessment and adoption of new technologies and tools.
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of processes and methodologies within the integration team.
  • Experience in developing custom connectors for legacy systems.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Compliance with DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP) or a higher certification is required within 6 months.
  • MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a MuleSoft Developer, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • Extensive experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, encompassing API design, development, and management.
  • Hands-on expertise with MuleSoft integration patterns, flows, and connectors.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or other programming languages.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Security Clearance Requirement

  • Possession of an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
