About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Partner Consultant to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of support and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary support to DentaQuest leadership for the administration of client programs, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Proactively identify client expectations and communicate them to DentaQuest leadership and staff, ensuring that expectations are delivered effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with functional areas within DentaQuest to ensure effective contract performance.
  • Support innovative business practices and process improvement opportunities for current and prospective clients.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and fee schedules, communicating them to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Perform functions that support timely and accurate reporting to clients.
  • Ensure Office Reference Manuals are kept up to date, corrective action plans are implemented, and client audits are organized effectively.
  • Develop and submit IODs based on CMS, market-, or client-specific program requirements.
  • Manage the process for obtaining program requirements, documentation, support, and other special requests from clients, providers, and other organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Five years' experience working with external clients/customers, with a proven track record of providing superior service.
  • Two years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Well-organized and superior organizational, written, and oral communication skills, particularly presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of group benefits and proven ability to provide consultative services to proactively meet customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with general computer software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to make good judgment conclusions based on data available with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
