Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a Construction Bid Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess over 2 years of experience in bid coordination and administration within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the estimating team to compile essential information and documentation for bid submissions, including a thorough review of project specifications and drawings.
  • Accurately prepare and organize bid documentation, which includes bid packages and subcontractor quotes, while ensuring electronic records are meticulously maintained.
  • Identify and prequalify subcontractors and suppliers for various projects, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids to clients, completing all necessary paperwork and adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of bid submissions, including outcomes and feedback, while tracking project opportunities across multiple platforms.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all bid-related inquiries, facilitating effective communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance and streamline the bid process for improved efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in bid coordination within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team environment and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

Compensation: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
