About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, and communicate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans with the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism in their home setting
  • Collect data on target behaviors and communicate with stakeholders
  • Maintain client confidentiality and regularly meet with direct leaders
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 0-18 years in a daycare or classroom setting
  • Minimum 1 year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment
  • A passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives
  • Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the past year)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift and carry up to 50 pounds
