Job Overview

ENT and Allergy of FL is actively looking for a dedicated Audiologists' Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. Our facility specializes in comprehensive ENT medical and surgical services, ensuring that patient care remains our highest priority. Role of the Audiologists' Assistant:

The successful candidate will possess experience in administrative roles, retail, or customer service across various sectors. While a medical background is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. Commitment to a two-year training program is essential to achieve state certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Audiologists in daily patient interactions and hearing aid sales.
  • Assist audiology patients across all age groups.
  • Facilitate hearing aid repairs.
  • Contact patients to arrange appointments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms throughout the day.
  • Manage inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Achieve and uphold state certification.

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to learn about audiology.
  • Aiming for a career rather than a temporary position.
  • A positive and proactive attitude is essential.
  • Willingness to engage directly with patients.
  • Ability to take initiative in learning new procedures.
  • Interest in working with technology, including hearing instruments and assistive listening devices.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective patient care.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing at least 50 words per minute, with strong knowledge of MS Word and basic MS Excel.
  • Capability to adapt in a dynamic environment while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Compassionate approach towards a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and the elderly.
  • Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Lifting up to 25 pounds may also be necessary.
