Position Overview

ENT and Allergy of FL is actively seeking a dedicated Audiologists' Assistant for a full-time role. Our organization specializes in providing comprehensive ENT medical and surgical services, ensuring that patient care remains our highest priority. Our team is committed to delivering both diagnostic and rehabilitative solutions, allowing our patients to rely on us for all their audiological needs.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in administrative support, retail, or customer service across various sectors. While a medical background is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. A commitment to a two-year agreement is required to enter our training program, which will lead to state certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Audiologists in daily patient interactions and hearing aid sales.
  • Assist audiology patients across all age groups.
  • Facilitate hearing aid repairs.
  • Contact patients to arrange appointments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms throughout the day.
  • Manage inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Achieve and uphold state certification.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in the field of audiology.
  • Aiming for a career path rather than just a job.
  • A positive and proactive attitude is essential.
  • Willingness to engage directly with patients.
  • Ability to take initiative in learning new procedures.
  • Interest in working with technology, including hearing instruments and assistive listening devices.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate effective patient care.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing at least 50 words per minute, with strong knowledge of MS Word and basic familiarity with MS Excel.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Compassionate approach towards a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors.
  • Bi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
