Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in administrative support, retail, or customer service across various sectors. While a medical background is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. A commitment to a two-year agreement is required to enter our training program, which will lead to state certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Audiologists in daily patient interactions and hearing aid sales.
- Assist audiology patients across all age groups.
- Facilitate hearing aid repairs.
- Contact patients to arrange appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms throughout the day.
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.
- Achieve and uphold state certification.
Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in the field of audiology.
- Aiming for a career path rather than just a job.
- A positive and proactive attitude is essential.
- Willingness to engage directly with patients.
- Ability to take initiative in learning new procedures.
- Interest in working with technology, including hearing instruments and assistive listening devices.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective patient care.
- Proficient computer skills, including typing at least 50 words per minute, with strong knowledge of MS Word and basic familiarity with MS Excel.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Compassionate approach towards a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors.
- Bi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
