Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing supervision and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist clients in working with groups and handling individual problems.
  • Set limits for behavior and create documentation of client progress.
  • Identify potential need for professional services and communicate findings to professional staff.
Essential Duties
  • Be aware of the location and activities of assigned residents at all times.
  • Facilitate residential daily schedule, including participating in and providing support to residents.
  • Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings in a safe and legal manner.
  • Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, and assigned documentation.
Qualifications
  • H.S. Degree or GED required; bachelor's level degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
  • Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move constantly during working hours. The incumbent must be able to see and hear and have the mobility to access the house/campus, which may include long distances or uneven terrain. The employee must be constantly alert for client safety.
