Position Overview
The MEP Project Manager will oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) field operations for one of our large-scale, expedited projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safe construction practices.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the MEP Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily on-site supervision of MEP construction activities, including coordination with third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Maintain the project timeline and proactively manage the budget by overseeing approvals and deliveries, controlling costs, and reviewing submission data.
  • Assess MEP-related change orders, estimates, and maintain corresponding logs.
  • Engage with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, municipal officials, and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal Project Managers, Design Managers, and Development Managers.
  • Lead the construction document coordination phase, review procurement document packages, and develop detailed scopes of work.
  • Assist in formulating, maintaining, and executing the project schedule.
  • Manage the permitting process with relevant authorities and ensure compliance with governmental requirements.
  • Facilitate job site foreman's meetings.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the field with comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with OSHA 30 and Procore, with a proven track record of managing a team on projects exceeding $5 million.
  • A mature professional demeanor with sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A highly entrepreneurial, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
