Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil/Industrial Project Manager to oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including underground construction and utility installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction methods, processes, and standards, as well as excellent leadership and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Oversee the construction of water/wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with blueprints and specifications.
  • Utilize project management software to manage project information and documentation.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Manage and maintain mechanical pump systems.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience within civil construction, underground construction, utility installation, blueprint reading, mechanical pump systems, and water/wastewater treatment construction.
  • A solid understanding of civil construction methods, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technology for project management.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
