Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all facets of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a focus on variance analysis.
  • Establish and implement internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures for budget management, cash flow, credit oversight, and accounting practices.
  • Generate and present financial and operational metrics to stakeholders.
  • Identify and advocate for technological enhancements to streamline reporting and planning functions, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Evaluate and refine financial reporting systems to ensure robust internal controls are maintained.
  • Guide and support various departments in understanding accounting and budgeting policies, as well as optimizing financial resource management.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial data from past, present, and projected operations to pinpoint growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic advice to management regarding both short-term and long-term financial goals, policies, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish and achieve revenue and cost targets.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, within the scope of the role.
Qualifications

Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
Preferred
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
  • Experience in large multinational corporations.

  • In-depth knowledge of FP&A processes, data validation, and financial literacy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools, business intelligence solutions, and other digital resources to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of general financial accounting principles.
  • Strong modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
  • Prior experience in managing financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
