Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to fill the role of Accounting Manager within our fast-paced finance team. This permanent position presents a unique chance to tackle exciting challenges and responsibilities in the finance sector.

In this role, you will oversee the daily functions of our accounting department, manage a team of finance professionals, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of our financial data with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of financial analysis, general ledger management, cash flow oversight, financial reporting, and internal controls.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
  • Lead the preparation of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the organization’s cash flow, ensuring financial obligations are met and risks are minimized.
  • Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Engage in strategic planning, risk management, and capital management initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management capacity.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, accounting principles, general ledger management, cash flow, financial statements, and internal controls.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for inspiring and motivating a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on timely analyses.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
