Facilities Operations Supervisor

We are in search of a skilled leader who can leverage their expertise to drive our commitment to 'Operational Excellence' while ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and organized. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding, communicating with, and mentoring Team Members, as well as reporting to Leadership on the achievement of service and facility objectives during both opening and closing shifts.

This position entails a dual focus on operational leadership and facilities management. We seek a proactive self-starter who can work efficiently and empower others to excel.

Compensation: Starting at $24.00/hr

Position Type:
  • Full-Time / Flexible Availability (scheduled between 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM / Monday - Saturday)
  • Full-Time hours
  • Involvement in both Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in fast-paced settings and ability to collaborate effectively with a team

• Basic proficiency in computer and iPad usage

• Capability to input and analyze data

• Must meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Manager Responsibilities:

• Address employee performance and policy adherence, escalating issues to the Director as necessary

• Input daily data into the performance system and utilize insights to optimize restaurant operations

• Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure appropriate staffing levels

• Drive strategic business outcomes through focused action on monthly objectives and performance reviews

• Foster positive relationships with all employees and leaders, providing guidance and constructive feedback

• Implement changes to enhance service speed and accuracy

• Serve as a resource for ongoing hospitality and production support

• Oversee inventory and facilities management

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all key roles in both front and back of the restaurant

• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu offerings

• Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality

• Adhere to operational policies and procedures

Facilities Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage cleaning protocols for both Front-of-House and Back-of-House

• Train and mentor team members to uphold inventory, cleaning, and maintenance standards

• Ensure accountability to policy standards among team members

• Coordinate scheduling for team members to fulfill additional responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management processes, including organization and storage

• Manage the upkeep of the onsite storage area

• Ensure proper display and maintenance of the American Flag

• Implement a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment

• Train facility leads to assist with equipment maintenance

• Establish processes for handling damaged equipment

• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address repair needs

• Communicate effectively regarding all facility-related responsibilities

• Schedule regular check-ins with Directors to review cleanliness, maintenance, and organization

• Share performance scores and involve the team in learning opportunities and successes

• Liaise with vendors regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and organization
