As a key member of our Clinical Access Centralized Scheduling Department, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding eligibility, claims, and payment issues.
- Schedule appointments and procedures for patients in a computerized scheduling system.
- Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.
- Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries.
- Accountable for accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician's office setting.
- Experience with medical insurance and Epic EMR system preferred.
- Data entry skills and ability to work in a high-volume call center environment.
- Ability to travel to onsite orientation locations for the first 8-9 weeks.
