Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist to join our team at United States Cold Storage. As a key member of our Customer Service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process cross-docks and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Verify inventory and notify customers of potential shortages, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Review receipts, outbounds, and charges to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Process hold/releases of inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Research and resolve OS&Ds (Over, Short, and Damaged) and create reports to document findings.
  • Post inbound and outbound orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Input orders on time to be shipped on pools, maintaining efficient and organized workflow.
  • Cut logs and adjustments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Research customer requests and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Report on turn times and ensure electronic transactions are not failing, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Import and export responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Promptly perform Trace requests, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cross-train for shipping office for Saturday rotation, ensuring seamless coverage and support.
Requirements
  • High School Degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in customer service or warehouse management.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • PC, leadership, and planning skills helpful.
  • Experience in AS400, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred.
