POSITION OVERVIEW

The Family Therapy Specialist is responsible for delivering model-compliant intensive in-home therapeutic interventions to adolescents facing substance use challenges and behavioral issues, along with their families.

This role involves engaging in the certification process for the Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) model, acquiring licensure, and accumulating clinical supervision hours while gaining valuable experience in working with adolescents, parents, and families.

COMPENSATION:
Salary: $62,000
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 (distributed in two installments)

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a Doctorate in Psychology. A valid credential such as LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or a licensed or license-eligible psychologist is required to commence employment. Note that applications are welcome prior to obtaining these credentials.

A valid Driver's License is essential for community-based service delivery.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is offered with a hybrid work schedule, combining remote and in-home sessions across various locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete clinical documentation and assessments.
- Provide triage for clinical emergencies and align with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal and external service providers.
- Conduct family meetings in accordance with model standards.
- Deliver services in various settings including offices, remote locations, and community environments as required.
- May assist clients with transportation to appointments when necessary.
- Work as part of a team to offer comprehensive services to families, integrating clinical and case management support.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to assist clients and families during crises.
