About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our donors and will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all visitors to our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist donors with appointments, create or pull donor record files, and provide customer service to donors and fellow employees.
  • Maintain an orderly filing system, purge records, and report to the center management team on operational opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Compensation and Benefits

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

The starting hourly wage reflects the actual starting rate for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.

U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
