Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from the state where work is being performed).
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification upon hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations and possess a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a 8-hour shift sometime between 7 am and 9 pm based on clinic needs. Rotation to surrounding Sutter Health sites may be required.

This position is non-exempt and offers a competitive hourly rate of $60.81 to $76.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
