Position Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist II is responsible for executing both standard and advanced sonography procedures of moderate complexity, ensuring the generation of high-quality images for healthcare professionals involved in patient diagnosis, treatment, and care. This role requires independent work, utilizing sound judgment and established clinical skills to navigate complex diagnostic scenarios, thereby delivering precise results promptly.
Building trust and rapport with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members is essential, achieved through thorough patient evaluations, vigilant monitoring, and clear communication. Compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies, is critical to maintain patient privacy and safety while providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized sonography procedures.
- Ensure quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Exercise independent judgment in complex clinical situations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Adhere to regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited sonography program.
Certification & Licensure:
- ARDMS (OB) certification.
- NTQR certificate of program completion or FMF NT certificate of program completion.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
Work Schedule:
This position operates on a part-time basis, typically during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, totaling 24 hours per week.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is between $74.08 and $92.58 per hour, with variations based on factors such as experience, education, and departmental needs.
