Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the management, coordination, and oversight of all facets of infusion and dispensing pharmacy operations within our organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and dispensing of both commercially available and investigational antineoplastic medications.
  • Evaluation of medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Collaboration in patient care activities, including the development, modification, and implementation of antineoplastic and antiemetic drug regimens.
  • Monitoring patient responses to drug therapies, including pain management and fluid control.
  • Providing recommendations for alternative therapies when necessary.
  • Delivering comprehensive drug-related information to healthcare professionals and patients.

Qualifications

Education: Pharm.D. or Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.

Licensure: A valid NYS pharmacist license is required.
