Job Summary:

As a Pharmacist with KPH Healthcare Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our customers in Long-Term Care facilities. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to oversee the operations of our Pharmacy department and ensure the provision of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adhere to the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to provide the highest quality healthcare services to our customers.
  • Oversee the operations of the Pharmacy department, relying on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Follow all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy.
  • Manage and balance the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
  • Ensure prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure all employees exhibit excellent customer service skills.
  • Ensure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environment.
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions.
  • Maintain an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrate them into own practice.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information.
  • Facilitate communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
  • Work on-call schedule, where applicable.
  • Interact with Facility Manager in the appropriate completion of hiring practices, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions of pharmacy department personnel.
  • Perform MTM, IMMR, short stay reviews, delivery at discharge, and other clinical functions to support consultant pharmacists and maintain compliance at customer locations.
  • Assist in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines.
  • Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy.
  • Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.

Special Conditions of Employment:

Compensation:

$81, $123,496.06 per year

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
