Pharmacist - Long Term Care Full Time 40 Hour Position

Job Summary:
As a Pharmacist with KPH Healthcare Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our customers in Long-Term Care facilities. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to oversee the operations of our Pharmacy department and ensure the provision of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and adhere to the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to provide the highest quality healthcare services to our customers.
- Oversee the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims.
- Manage and balance the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while maintaining stock levels for customer needs.
- Ensure prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure all employees exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Ensure all loss prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations to Loss Prevention.
- Oversee the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environment.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain awareness of developments in the pharmacy and healthcare services fields and integrate them into your practice.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information.
- Facilitate communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
- Work on-call schedule, as applicable.
- Interact with Facility Manager in the completion of hiring practices, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for pharmacy department personnel.
- Perform MTM, IMMR, short stay reviews, delivery at discharge, and other clinical functions to support consultant pharmacists and maintain compliance at customer locations.
- Assist in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within those guidelines.
- Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS or PharmD degree in Pharmacy.
- Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
- Ability to stand/walk throughout the majority of the shift.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Drug test.
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.

- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Course.
