Job Summary

The University of Louisville seeks a seasoned financial leader to serve as its next Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (EVP/CFO). This strategic role requires a collaborative leader with significant fiscal and administrative experience in complex academic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and strengthen the University's financial units to execute the University's strategic plan, support innovation, and fulfill the mission of the University.
  • Communicate financial goals and opportunities to the University community.
  • Lead a large, diverse team of 500 staff members and manage UofL's $1.7 billion operational budget.
  • Collaborate with UofL Health and the School of Medicine to drive financial success.
Requirements
  • A master's degree and 10 or more years of relevant experience in financial leadership.
  • Strong financial management skills, familiarity with research universities, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong track record of leading and managing teams effectively.
