Salary Information

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role in our Behavioral Health department comes with an estimated annual salary of $42,000 - $48,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a CNA in our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your duties may include:

  • Performing selected patient care activities
  • Observing and recording patient information pertinent to their treatment plan
  • Maintaining safety checks and assessments of individual patients and the Behavioral Health environment
Responsibilities

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to provide support for patients' therapeutic treatment plans. This may involve:

  • Assisting patients with physical and emotional needs
  • Dealing with patient emergencies
  • Working as a member of a clinical team to maintain a safe environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
  • Current BLS certification
  • Possession of knowledge in Medical Terminology
  • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred
