Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Care Nurse (Nights) at Saint John Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare. The Cardiac Care Nurse plays a critical role in providing tailored care to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor patient's cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medications.
- Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices.
- Emergency Response: React promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress.
- Licensure and Certification: Current and valid state RN License, Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current, Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Experience: Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Certifications: Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current, Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
