Job Description:

Mental Health Services: As a Clinical Psychologist, your primary responsibility will be to provide diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for inmates. You will utilize your expertise in clinical psychology to identify areas needing resolution and develop effective strategies for successful adaptation and treatment.

Clinical Duties: Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting psycho-diagnostic assessments and providing crisis interventions
  • Providing individual, group counseling, emergency, and on-call services
  • Developing and implementing programs designed to measure treatment efficacy
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Consulting with professional staff regarding psychological characteristics and behavior changes

Requirements:

Licensure/Certification: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

Education: Successful completion of a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in Clinical Psychology.

Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting psycho-diagnostic assessments, providing crisis interventions, and providing psychotherapy for an inmate or adult population.

Salary: The estimated annual salary range for this position is $145,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
