Overview:
Leidos' Security Enterprise Solutions is in search of a skilled Engineering Program Manager to enhance our forward-thinking engineering team, dedicated to crafting innovative solutions that enhance global travel safety and efficiency.

Role Responsibilities:
The Engineering Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison for the program, overseeing project scope, timeline, and budget. This role involves collaborating closely with Product Line Management, Engineering, Services, and Manufacturing to comprehend both internal and external customer needs, formulate program strategies, and ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Key Duties Include:
- Leading the team through the New Product Introduction lifecycle phases, including requirements gathering, concept development, design evaluations, verification and validation, and production release.
- Facilitating program meetings, technical discussions, program assessments, and gate reviews.
- Identifying and managing program risks in collaboration with the team.
- Prioritizing team efforts to align with the program schedule.
- Influencing cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
- Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders regarding program status and technical challenges.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as a program manager in hardware and software development projects.
- Strong planning capabilities, including requirement definition, time estimation, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Skills:
- A broad engineering background to analyze design data across electrical, software, mechanical, and physical science disciplines.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders.
- A proactive, resourceful, and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Additional Preferences:
- PMP certification.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in product development involving algorithms, imaging systems, or network solutions.
