As a key member of the Rutland Regional Medical Center team, the Healthcare Technology Management Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of Biomed services. This includes developing and administering programs to maintain clinical equipment, beds, and stretchers in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical experience in Biomed equipment service and supervisory experience. They will be able to coach, train, and develop an effective team, and possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, they will have demonstrated knowledge of standards and regulations applicable to Biomed Equipment service, including IT applications. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $143,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer programs to maintain clinical equipment, beds, and stretchers
  • Supervise and manage a team of Biomed technicians
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and administrative guidelines
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and vendors to coordinate upgrades and implementations

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience
  • 5 years technical experience in Biomed equipment service
  • 5 years supervisory experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills
  • Knowledge of Clinical Equipment Maintenance applications, HEMS Application preferred
