Sales Development Program Associate

Wells Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Sales Development Program. As a Sales Development Program Associate, you will be responsible for developing a foundational understanding of sales and business development principles, with a focus on category management and sales analytics.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a sales territory with a mix of chain grocery stores, Walmart's, and independent stores.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call frequency, calls per day, displays, and more.
  • Develop a strong understanding of merchandising, sales tools, and resources.
  • Effectively complete requirements at each store call, including verifying pricing and distribution, scanning out-of-stocks and low inventory, reloading inventory, and more.
  • Utilize the Store Call Database (SCDB) tool and other tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Establish strong customer relationships through regular store visits and interaction with key store personnel.
  • Gain exposure to and interact with Business Development Managers, Sales Rep II's, and other sales support functions within Wells.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or a related field with analytics coursework.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience and analytical experience preferred.
