A. Duie Pyle's Leadership Development Program is a comprehensive training program designed to develop future business leaders. The program is a 24-week rotational program that combines sales and operations-based assignments, providing participants with a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry.

The Sales Development Program is an accelerated training program designed to prepare and develop future business development representatives. The program takes participants on a three-month progression, where they will learn about our operations and sales teams while developing a strong understanding of the transportation industry and our direct competitors.
Participants will begin their career at the closest Pyle terminal to their home, where they will learn about freight handling and our LTL business. They will gain valuable hands-on experience working various shifts on our dock and riding along in our trucks. To sell our services successfully, participants must first understand how they work.
Nearing the completion of the program, participants will receive their assigned territory within the Pyle network. Following their successful graduation, they will start putting their new acquired skills to work.
Responsibilities- Shadowing Pyle leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training
- Understanding teamwork – learning how all team members and roles impact the operation
- Participating in classroom-style learning to develop industry and company knowledge, and develop professional relationships with high-level leadership
- Learning sales strategies, techniques, and how to best market our service offerings to prospective and current customers
To be qualified for this position, participants must possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) and/or associates degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Prior sales and/or marketing experience in an internship, part-time job, or full-time position
- Excellent communication – both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Willingness to relocate within the Pyle network upon program completion
- Possess a positive, can-do attitude
