Job Overview

Karya Property Management is seeking a highly motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team at Music City Flats, a 145-unit property. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation based on experience.

The Leasing Consultant is the property's sales representative, responsible for greeting prospects, presenting the property's features and benefits, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective residents, current residents, and vendors to increase leasing agreements.
  • Understand and explain the Lease Contract to current and future residents.
  • Ensure all units are in optimal condition and prepare move-in packets and coordinate move-ins with future residents.
  • Create effective marketing strategies, including coordinating resident activities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents and team members.
  • Conduct daily property walks to ensure curb appeal.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; College degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to provide support to diverse tenants.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English for business transactions and fair housing compliance.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders.
  • Ability to type efficiently.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors or in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule.
